Brian and Liz celebrated their wedding day at the stunning Kahkwa Club in Erie, PA. The morning started off rainy and relatively questionable, but I had no doubt it would turn into the most gorgeous, sunny, spring day you could ever imagine. And sure enough, it did just that!

At their engagement session in Indianapolis just a few months ago during the fall, Brian and Liz warned me that there was NO possible way the weather would cooperate for their day. (Apparently, Brian’s family is infamous for being dealt unbearable weather conditions on their wedding days!) I told them, right then and there, that the weather WAS, in fact, going to be beautiful and that we’d pray without ceasing leading up to May 18. And let me tell you what, God freaking SHOWED UP with the weather last weekend!

If I had to formulate the perfect weather conditions for a wedding, it would have been exactly this: sunny and 70 degrees, no humidity, a slight breeze and a tiny little drizzle in the morning just for good luck! 😉 If anyone deserved a beautiful day like this, it was most definitely these two! Brian and Liz are sweet, funny, go-with-the-flow, unbelievably smart and wildly successful. (No joke, Liz just graduated with her PharmD LAST WEEKEND and will begin her residency as a pharmacist next month!) They’ve endured long distance for a huge portion of their relationship and celebrated seven years together in January. High school sweethearts are, admittedly, some of my favorite weddings to photograph, because I love seeing couples grow and change together through so many seasons of life!

Brian and Liz- THANK YOU for letting me be part of your incredible wedding! I cannot articulate how special I think y’all are. Watching you interact with one another was easily one of my favorite parts of getting to know you two. Brian, you love Liz so well and it shows in every action you make and each time you look at her. Liz, your excitement to finally marry your best friend was undeniable and the joy on your face from morning until the night was so evident! After seven and a half years together, you are FINALLY Mr. & Mrs. Sundberg! Here’s to the endless adventures that lie ahead; wishing you all the joy and happiness in the world! You surely deserve it.
