I'm Hannah Bryerton, wedding & portrait photographer based in New York State. I am a lover of details and story telling- both visually & through writing. Here you will find glimpses of my life as a photographer, wife, dog-lover & Chick fil-A obsessed creative!
Despite a worldwide pandemic, complete change of wedding plans, and a severely decreased guest list… Natalie and Alex Kline FINALLY said “I do” at the Conewango Club in Warren, PA, surrounded by all their best friends. After six years together, and endless months planning and replanning, this wedding day turned out even more amazing than we all could have dreamed.
When I say I love my clients, I really freakin’ mean it. Alex and Natalie have been MY people from the day their inquiry landed in my inbox. A bride who is Type A, a lover of details, and insistent on multiple engagement sessions… heck freaking yes! That just SCREAMS my kind of human! I have loved every step of our journey together and I wouldn’t want to be forced to plan a wedding amidst a worldwide pandemic with anyone else. My 2020 couples are resilient, wonderful, and gracious in situations that surely do not deserve it. I am striving to become more like them every day.
I don’t think a smile left my face the entire day! It’s very rare that I get done shooting for 11 hours, in midsummer heat I might add, and still want to celebrate alongside a wedding party! But these people welcomed me with open arms as if I was one of their own. And my sweet friend, Jessica, stepped up to help document every moment of the day while my assistant was out of town…and I couldn’t be more thankful for her either.
Alex and Natalie will be celebrating their love ALL over again next June at a reception held with ALL their originally planned guests present. When they asked if I would be willing to document that celebration, I said “ANOTHER YEAR OF PLANNING WITH YOU TWO?! SIGN ME THE HECK UP!” I’m already looking forward to more raspberry filled cupcakes, intricate details, and doing the wobble with the Nat and her best friends on the dance floor.
To my sweet, sweet bride + groom- I truly adore the humans that you are. The fact you pushed forward with your day speaks volumes about your dedication to one another, and after spending time with all your loved ones, it is no surprise that you have turned out as wonderful as you are! Your day exuded the purest forms of joy, and I’m thankful to have been part of it all. You have become the sweetest friends [who always give the best television show suggestions] and I can’t wait to do this all again in a year! Your love for each other is so evident, and it is championed only by your mutual love for Annabelle, the mattress adventure cat. (I hope she gets an invite to next year’s party, because I’m still patiently waiting to meet her!)
All my love, always. XOXO.
