I’m finally getting around to blogging all my engagement sessions from last season, and holy moly did I forget what a STUNNER this one at Hartwood Acres Mansion was last fall! It was a balmy 40 degrees with wind and rain/snow flurries in Pittsburgh on this lovely October afternoon, but you’d never know it by looking at Cole & Lacey’s final images!

When I say these two were absolutely phenomenal for their session, I mean they were like Taylor Swift level rockstar. (If you don’t already know my extreme love for Taylor Swift, here’s me telling you that this statement comes with some serious weight behind it!) I was bundled up head to toe and it felt like my hands were freezing off, but these two endured all the elements and rocked three different outfit changes in the process. None of which included warm clothing.

So without further ado, I give you the nauseatingly adorable Cole & Lacey— high school sweethearts, best friends, & some of the KINDEST people you will ever meet!

Words don’t begin to cover how much I love these two and I cannot WAIT to photograph their gorgeous wedding day at Steamfitters this September! Lacey is doing all her own floral design (she is RIDICULOUSLY talented; go follow her on Instagram here!) Crossing my fingers for a [minimum] 30-40 degree temperature increase for our next photos, though. Either way, these two have proven they are straight magic in front of a camera no matter WHAT they’re forced to endure, and for that, I truly love them even more!
