Long Point State Park in Bemus Point, NY, has become a go-tos for lakeside portrait sessions, especially during the warmer summer months! I’ve even photographed a few engagement sessions there during the winter, and it never fails to provide the most stunning light and landscapes. (I’m truly not a lover of winter, but the pine trees covered in fresh snowfall make me second guess my disdain for the cold!)

Anyways- on to this sweet session! Amber and Cody have become dear, cherished friends of mine over the years, as I began photographing these two right after they got married. It was just them and the dogs, but since then, they’ve added two of the sweetest babies! To say I am downright obsessed with this little family would be the understatement of the century.

While the Crosby’s spend half their year wintering in Florida, I am lucky enough to photograph them every summer when they’re back north. (Although, it’s definitely on my bucket list to fly down & photograph them there, too!) 😉 While documenting busy toddlers is never an easy task, Aury & Clover make me laugh out loud every time they’re in front of my camera. You’ll soon see exactly what I’m talking about; their personalities shine so bright and they are absolutely hilarious!

Amber & Cody inspire me in countless ways- from their incredible design talents within their small business, Built For This, to the way they parent their children with love and grace. I never thought I would be ready to have children, myself, but they encouraged me that there can be so much joy in raising the next generation of Jesus followers. Truly, they’ve played a huge role in the trajectory of my life without even realizing it.

Their love for the Lord and the world around them is so admirable. I cherish their friendship so deeply and find it the greatest honor being able to document their family legacy year after year!
