It was a rainy and gloomy weekend in Clymer, New York… but that definitely didn’t stop Katie and Brandon from throwing the biggest backyard dance party (with a side of wedding vows) on Saturday! These two are quite literally the definition of letting go of ALL expectations and simply enjoying the heck out of your once in a lifetime day.

Katie willingly took all her photos in the misty, rainy weather with zero complaints. She is the first bride I’ve ever photographed that truly did not care in the slightest that it was raining on her wedding day. The most laid-back, infectiously joyful human… just wildly excited to marry her high school sweetheart.

Brandon cared about one thing and one thing only: the dance party. Ok, second only to marrying Katie, of course! To say I am obsessed with these two and their personalities would be an extreme understatement. I friggen love who they are as individuals, but adore who they are together even more!

“I just know I’m going to be so excited and happy with whatever you can capture!” (I wish I could bottle up those words from this bride to hear on repeat every single day!) Knowing Katie and Brandon trusted me wholeheartedly to be alongside them on their day… it was a joy I cannot fully describe.

You are my best friend in the entire world’s family, which by default makes me love you guys as if you were my own. But genuinely, you are two of the most kind, carefree, and hilarious humans to ever step in front of my camera. Thank you for allowing me to play even the smallest role in your wedding day; I genuinely feel so lucky to be part of your love story!
