Fall Brunch Wedding in the Finger Lakes- Norton Chapel at Keuka College

Cory and Maddie had the most quintessential fall weather to celebrate their Sunday brunch wedding in the Finger Lakes! Keuka College Norton Chapel provided the perfect backdrop of beautiful fall foliage and quiet views of the lake; it felt like we had the entire lakefront to ourselves!

While I am typically not a morning person, I am VERY much a pancake, bacon, and pastry person. So the moment Cory and Maddie told me they were dreaming up a brunch wedding– I was immediately on board. Not to mention I’ve known Cory through the wedding industry for years now. It is truly such an honor when another vendor refers you to their clients, but I swear it’s a whole new level of flattery when another vendor wants to BE one of your couples! I’ve documented countless weddings alongside Cory as the videographer, so it was extra special to have a front row seat to his very own wedding day!

This season, I decided to start highlighting my favorite things about every wedding I have the honor to photograph, so without further ado, here are some extra special details I loved about Maddie & Cory’s day:

1. The Finger Lakes in the Fall

I hate to even admit this, but despite living only a few hours away, it’s been YEARS since I visited the Finger Lakes. Now, I have a feeling this will become a much more regular trip for me! My assistant, Lindsey, and I stayed in Canandaigua the night before this wedding, so we had the opportunity to see not only Keuka Lake, but also Canandaigua showing off some of its peak fall foliage. It was breathtakingly beautiful!

2. The Brunch Style Wedding Meal

Guys, we have been SLEEPING on breakfast food being served at weddings! This is my formal petition to have pancakes, waffles, donuts, pastries, bacon, omelets… literally any and all breakfast food present at wedding celebrations. (I could definitely forgo the early morning start, but if it means I get to indulge in this spread every weekend? Count me in!)

3. The Weather

This has been the highlight of my 2025 season, and I couldn’t go without without giving it a shoutout one last time for Cory & Maddie’s day. We were blessed with quite literally the PERFECT fall weather– sunny & 65, a slight breeze, and gorgeous fall foliage. Western New York is generally a nightmare when it comes to predicting the weather, but 95% of my days this season were incredible, and this one was no exception! Dear Lord, please give us this kind of fall weather every year. Amen.

Cory & Maddie–

I am still so humbled that you two chose little old ME to capture your day! Working alongside this vendor team and being part of your love story is an honor I will never ever forget. I cannot wait to see where life takes you two from here & I’ll be cheering you on EVERY step of the way! Enjoy this small glimpse into your day; there are so many more where these came from!

Cory & Maddie did an incredible job of choosing wonderful humans to be part of their vendor team! Shout out to all our friend-ors (vendor friends) who made this day possible:
