Hannah and Charlie, alongside all their family and friends, traveled in to the Chautauqua Lake area to celebrate this wedding on their favorite day of the year– July 11! This couple began dating five years ago as high school sweethearts on this very day, got engaged last summer on 7/11, and finally became husband and wife this past weekend!
Their rehearsal dinner (which I was lucky enough to be part of!) took place on Friday evening aboard the iconic Chautauqua Belle, overlooking sunset views all around Chautauqua Lake. Then, on Saturday, we celebrated the wedding ceremony and exchanging of vows at the most quintessential summer home you can imagine, courtesy of Charlie’s great aunt Rene, right in downtown Bemus Point. Afterward, guests congregated at the Bemus Point Golf Club & Tap House for the reception. Everywhere you looked there were intentional, adorable details– quilts used as tablecloths at all thirteen guest tables, pastel floral arrangements by the incredible ladies at Meant to Bee Flower Farm, fabric strips as a photobooth backdrop, hand sewn flags lining the tented area, and sentimental odes to all their loved ones (particularly their Holland Lop bunny, Gnocchi)! This day was truly so special and I still cannot believe I got to be part of it all!
Hannah & Charlie–
I’m not sure I’ve ever met a bride & groom more chill than you two (and, as it turns out, I’ve been to a couple of weddings in my lifetime). Despite feeling absolutely ancient trying to keep up with your vocabulary, it’s safe to say your wedding day left me absolutely gagged. The sentimental details? Elite. The perfect weather? Main character energy. Gnocchi the TikTok celebrity as the ring bearer? Iconic. Your aura points are literally off the charts.
Watching you two vibe is honestly the biggest green flag, and I have zero doubt this marriage is about to absolutely cook (I think that’s good?) and continue to be an infinite W. I can’t wait to see where life takes you next… which, if I had to guess, is probably Disney World at least four times a year, thanks to Hannah forcing you guys into certified Disney adults. No cap though, this whole day was straight fire; I fear you may have actually taught this millenial a thing or two about being slightly hip.
…or at least that’s the lore we’re going with.
