The world has waited a long time to see these two middle school sweethearts finally become husband and wife. Last Saturday, in between raindrops, Maci & Garrett finally said “I do” and I am still pinching myself that I was there to witness it all!
Their wedding ceremony took place in the cutest little meadow area, surrounded by trees from the woods and property they own together. The day began with a little bit of rain, switched to bright and warm sunshine, then flip-flopped back to overcast skies just in time for the ceremony. We had less than five minutes to document all their husband and wife portraits before the skies opened up and poured for the remainder of the evening. No one dreams of rain on their wedding day, but Maci & Garrett truly made the most of every minute of sunshine and clear skies that they could!

I honestly never imagined that the sassy teenage girl working in my parents’ ice cream shop would one day become my sweet, cherished friend and future bride. It feels like we have joked about when you two would get married for the last decade, and my brain cannot fully comprehend that it has already come and gone! I’m so excited to see where life takes you from here and I know you will accomplish anything you put your minds to, simply because you have one another! You’ve come so far already, and to think… this is merely the beginning.
Thank you for allowing me part of your lives; it’s an honor I will never take lightly!
