The Hardts. I just love these two people so much! I met Kelsey back in college, while we both were attending Penn State Behrend. She and Justin have been together the entire time I’ve known her, yet this was the very first time I had the pleasure of meeting him! These two have been rocking out a long distance engagement for the last four months, as he attends Northwestern University pursuing his MBA in Chicago, while Kelsey lives in Charlotte, NC with their sweet chocolate lab pup! It was so amazing seeing them be able to soak in this time together to celebrate their love and marriage with all their favorite people. And what a FUN group it was!

Justin is the type of person who makes you feel as though you are his best friend from the very moment you meet him. And his groomsmen were no different. I was laughing all day long at this group of guys and am pretty sure I took the most groomsmen photos ever to date. Kelsey and her girls were absolute troopers as we battled the breeze flying off of Lake Erie on this crazy windy day in Buffalo. These girls were so helpful,  down for anything with pictures and simply beautiful! Surrounded by SO many fellow Penn Staters in this bridal party, I felt right at home! 🙂 Also, a huge shout out goes to my best friend, Morgan, for tagging along to assist me & second shoot their day. (Thankfully, she attended Penn State Behind, too, so we allowed her to hang) 😉

Mr. & Mrs. Hardt— I am so thankful y’all chose me to capture this beautiful day in Buffalo!! You two were so laid back and we had so much fun hanging out with you all day long. I just LOVE you two humans. Can’t wait for our one year anniversary session 😉 It will be here before we know it. (PS… bring Nora) <3

I know y’all are wondering at this point: yes, this is SuzieB Fitness from Instagram. Yes, she was in this wedding. Yes, she did go to college with us. Yes, she is a normal human being.  And yes, her and Micah are adorable in real life, too.
We ended the evening with these portraits, just as the sun was setting by the water. THANK GOODNESS the wind calmed down and the sun brought the most beautiful light across the lake. SO thankful we were able to capture a few last minute shots to end the day!!! XO
