If rain on your wedding day really is good luck, Keith and Stacey will be married at least 100 years! Even while dodging rain drops on and off all day long, their wedding was one of the most beautiful I have ever witnessed. HOLY. FRICKIN. WOW. I’m not sure there are even words to describe just how amazing Gervasi Vineyards in Canton, Ohio, is! And this couple… they just made this venue all the more stunning.
We arrived at Gervasi and felt like we were driving into an entirely different world. Weeping willow trees, beautiful ponds, brick sidewalks, gorgeous buildings and swans casually wandering around the grounds. Even in the misty rain, this place was unbelievable. Grape vineyards surrounded the ceremony and reception building, and everywhere you turned, it was utter beauty.
My favorite part about this day was the abundance of happy tears. Keith and Stacey’s first look was one for the books, as Keith started crying BEFORE he even caught a glimpse of his gorgeous bride. These two love each other so deeply, and their handwritten vows and letters to each other were enough to make anyone break down and cry. I just LOVE couples who are crazy about each other and K+S are the perfect example of that.
Thank you, Stacey & Keith, for allowing me to part of this amazing day! I can hardly do justice to how beautiful every last detail was, but I hope these images captured at least a glimpse of your perfect day. You are the greatest and I simply ADORE you both and your amazing love story! XOXO
The ring bearer was jamming ALL day long. He was rocking on his headphones while getting ready and then was the first to hit the dance floor at the reception! We sat next to the DJ at dinner, and he kept coming up and requesting songs. From Cheap Trick to Ed Sheeran to Blue Swede to One Republic.. this kid knew his music! So stinkin’ adorable!!
Keith’s parents surprised the couple with a horse-drawn carriage to take them around the grounds! It worked out absolutely perfectly! After getting ready, Stacey and I rode across the vineyard to meet Keith for their first look.
A few precious moments together and we were off for our first round of portraits! The rain didn’t bother them one bit, and I adore them for being willing to stand out in it! Thankfully they came prepared with the cutest little parasol. I think it is so special that we were able to capture these images and remember the day exactly how it was, rain and all!
After portraits, we headed back to meet the bridal party & family before the ceremony. Keith and Stacey were SO giddy to finally say “I do!” I even noticed their eyes welling up with tears every now and then. How exciting it is to marry your best friend!
This gorgeous farm table was built just for Keith and Stacey & will soon be placed in their home! How sweet to think the table they will one day sit around with their children is the same table they ate their first meal together as husband and wife! I just love that!!
