Tessa and Ryan were kind enough to invite me to their gorgeous home to capture their engagement session last week! I ended up on a little, dead-end dirt road, only to find the most stunning house with a barn out back, accompanied by fields, trees, and amazing views of the Pennsylvania hillside. Tess & Ryan truly live in their own little slice of paradise!

If my blog posts could contain emojis, this one would have fifty seven heart eyes. Right in a row. These two are some of the kindest, most laid back, wonderful humans I’ve ever encountered. I just know they are going to make the sweetest lifelong friends! I realize that I say this constantly, but photography brings some of the most amazing people into my life. Tess emailed me the DAY AFTER she and Ryan got engaged, and it’s been true love ever since. (Sorry, Ryan….) We share a mutual love of dogs, being total homebodies, bargain hunting at TJ Maxx, and pretending we are real-life friends with the casts of Parenthood, Grey’s Anatomy & One Tree Hill. I kid you not, she and I text at least on a weekly basis, so saying I’m obsessed with her just might be the understatement of the century. I am just SO excited for their wedding in September! This detail-oriented, meticulous, beautiful bride is one after my own heart! Everything is going to be absolutely perfect and we can all “Cardly” wait! 😉
