I'm Hannah B, wedding & portrait photographer based in New York State. I'm a lover of intricate details and story telling- both visually & through writing. Here you will find glimpses of my life as a photographer, wife, mama, dog-lover & Chick fil-A obsessed creative!
Devin and Jessica celebrated their love at the Sussex County Conservatory in New Jersey on Saturday, April 27, and it was the windiest, sun-filled, cherry-blossom-tree-blessed wedding I’ve ever been a part of.
Mind you, my area of New York does not have cherry blossom trees. So for the first 26 years of my existence, I had no idea what I was missing out on. You can imagine my excitement when I pulled up to Jessica’s getting-ready location, only to see the most GORGEOUS pink-flowered blossoming tree to ever exist. My photographer’s heart went CRAZY. (Sorry, WNY, you may just lose to me to a different part of the country, yet!)
This was my second time traveling to their area. Back in December, I flew out to New Jersey/New York City to capture their engagement session and I fell head over heels in love with Jess & Devin the moment we met. (Am I borderline obsessed with my couples? Yes, yes I am. And I will not apologize for doing so!)
My heart was broken when I had to say goodbye to them on Saturday night; it felt like the end of an era. After a year of planning, our short time together was coming to an end. Jessica and I shared a few glistening tears right on the dance floor and promised we’d meet again one day. My detail-oriented, blush-loving, TJ-Maxx appreciating bride. Words don’t describe what this lady means to me!
Jess and Devin- What a sweet friendship I found in you two. I am so grateful that y’all entrusted me with the honor of capturing your beautiful spring wedding day. I am still overwhelmed by you and your amazing families. From Instagram, to email, to meeting in person. I know that every mile between us was worth it…and I’d gladly travel to your state ANY time to be able to laugh, heel-kick, and document your love story all over again!
All of a sudden, Jess’s brothers came out to join us for pictures. Devin decided that heel-clicking was a must.
Ugh, my people. I love them so stinkin’ much!!
