Matthew Fox & Carly Kirkpatrick are officially HUSBAND + WIFE! These two said “I do” at the gorgeous Chautauqua Institution on Saturday, October 12 and it could not have been more beautiful!

The morning of their day started out with a few raindrops and some heavy fog. It was downright chilly, but I KNEW it was going to clear off and be an incredible day. When I arrived to Chautauqua Institution, I immediately came across some seagulls out on the lake, each claiming their rightful wooden post in the the morning fog. I stopped my car and snapped a picture because I truly thought it was hilarious. (You’ll see that image in the blog, because I really could not help myself!) I’m entitling that photograph “Mine.” (Reference: Finding Nemo) ha!

Anyway- back to the really good stuff. Carly, Matt & their friends had me laughing all freaking day. I knew I was in good company from the moment I walked into each of the getting ready rooms. The bridesmaids lovingly referred to me as “Instagram Hannah” for the entirety of the day, and the groomsmen played this fun game where they allowed me to guess a name instead of simply telling me. Vincent was named Chad (by yours truly) and Mitchell’s name soon became Michelle. I was somehow dubbed “Claire” along the line, and I soon found out it was because they thought I resembled the actress, Rachel McAdams, from Wedding Crashers. Which, anyone who knows me well, knows that I get this comment on a weekly basis. I’m about THISSSS close to reaching out to see if homegirl and I are actually related. (Who knows, maybe Rachel McAdams gets told she looks like Hannah Bryerton constantly, right???) 😉 HAHAHA!

Carly & Matt- you two (and all your favorite people) were SUCH a joy to be around!! Documenting every moment of your day was such a privilege. I hope you’re enjoying your mini honeymoon up in Maine and that y’all spend a few moments scrolling through this amazing wedding day recap together! (I truly can’t wait for you to see the full gallery! It’s so full of joy and friendship and happy tears and love and all the best things life has to offer!)
