Karissa & Chad exchanged vows at the stunning Dam Inn in Wilcox, Pennsylvania, and it was the prettiest fall day full of sunshine! I was so happy to be back at this venue after shooting my first wedding here last summer (shoutout to you, Tierra & Matt Bodamer! Love y’all so much!) Karissa actually found me after seeing the images from their wedding at The Dam Inn and I am so grateful for it! It was such an honor to be part of Chad & Karissa’s amazing day!!!
A few favorite things I want to highlight: first and foremost, Chad & Karissa HAVE to be my most laid back couple of all time. I felt like they were so go-with-the-flow all day and there were no time crunches or ANYTHING for the entirety of this celebration. They trusted my vision and artistic eye whole-heartedly and there is nothing I could ask for more than that! Secondly- I love that these two are not only becoming husband and wife, but joining two families as one. Karissa’s daughter stopped Chad in the middle of his getting ready photos and goes… “Hey, guess what!? You’re going to be my dad today!” And believe me when I say, there wasn’t a dry eye in the room. (Especially from my assistant, MaryKate; she was visibly sobbing) Seriously, though, it was downright adorable and a moment I will never forget! They have three beautiful children and I was documenting their sweet gestures and expressions all day. It was the BEST!
