Kandace and Derek held one of the most stunning events I’ve ever laid eyes on last weekend! We started the day off with their wedding mass at Buffalo’s iconic Our Lady of Victory National Shrine & Basilica, then traveled to their family’s private estate for the most GORGEOUS reception to ever grace Orchard Park! It was complete with not one, but TWO, clear top tents, endless floral arrangements, an ice sculpture, countless party favors for their guests, and the most dreamy dinner & dancing space you could fathom! Every inch of their reception was built from the ground up and assembled on location. Everywhere you turned there was evidence of the months of intricate planning it took to make this day possible!

Truly- every last detail was executed to perfection by the STUPIDLY talented Sam Nelson & her team at EVL Events! They literally thought of EVERYTHING for this day. Had you told me even five years ago that I would have the honor of working alongside such a remarkable group of small businesses, capturing magazine-worthy weddings, I would have called you crazy! It really is the biggest honor to be chosen to capture an event of this magnitude, & I know that no matter how hard I tried, I could never do the entire thing justice. It was one of those days just too beautiful for words (or pictures, for that matter!) SO many talented creatives poured their heart & soul into this event, and the gravity of documenting it all is still something I will never take for granted.

From the gorgeous, sentimental details of your attire… to the hundreds of roses lining the pathway to your back yard… to the stunning monogramed dance floor & wedding-crested decor at the reception. I love that you two planned each portion of the day out together and shared tears of joy seeing it all come to fruition.
