My love story with Luke and Mikaela began four autumns ago in 2019, when they were just a couple of newly-engaged, giddy 20-somethings with their whole lives ahead of them! I don’t know if I can recall a more enthusiastic inquiry than Mikaela’s first message to me. She gushed about how she and Luke, along with their families, were dead set on having me document their wedding. (Like… are you KIDDING me? Truly the kindest compliment ever to have not only the groom, but the whole fam on board!) I couldn’t wait to finally have them in front of my camera at their engagement session.

Fast forward to today: we documented those engagements when they were merely babies, survived planning & re-planning their wedding during a worldwide pandemic, celebrated their best day ever at Four Seasons Barn in Columbus, OH, and have even photographed them standing beside some of their closest friends (& dancing their hearts out!) at other weddings and events over the years.

This officially marks my fifth fall having them in front of my camera, & WHAT A FREAKING HONOR it’s been watching their love grow! There is quite literally nothing I cherish more in this career than the precious friendships I’ve made along the way.
