Josh & Khristina were such a joy to capture last Friday evening! They were absolute troopers trudging through the sand and rarely visited territories of Erie’s Presque Isle! (Especially Khristina; she is 8 months pregnant and handled it like a champ!)
This was my first time ever meeting the two of them, so I got to hear all about their love story and where it all began. To simply put it, Khristina had to work SO hard to get Josh to go on a date with her for the first time. After meeting him in person at the dealership she purchased her vehicle from, she was convinced that Josh would be her soul mate. She, technically, asked him out about four times afterward, entirely unbeknownst to him. (His social media apps were blocking her messages, due to them not being “friends,” so he wasn’t even getting her multiple invitations!) FINALLY, life brought them together and they were engaged after dating less than a year! Khristina was right after all… he really was her soul mate! 🙂
These two are going to make the best parents for this sweet baby girl! They informed me that her due date is only ONE day before my birthday. Naturally, it seems only right to have her July 31st, instead of the 30th, don’t you agree? I also tried to convince them that “Hannah” is an absolutely beautiful name. Because they’re keeping the name a secret from their friends and family, I’m going to go ahead and assume that means Hannah is most definitely in the running. Who better to name your baby after than your maternity photographer… right?! 🙂
Josh & Khristina— thank you for allowing me to hang out with y’all on such a beautiful summer evening. I was even able to grab Chick fil-A after our session before heading back home, which everyone knows is a HUGE win in my book. That was only the second best part of my day, though, after meeting the two of you! 🙂 Wishing you all the best as you prepare your hearts and home for the arrival of your little girl! XOXO
