This August, I only had ONE wedding booked for the entire month! Having a month off in the middle of wedding season was such a gift, and I was thankful to be able to enjoy a few Saturdays off and catch up on some much needed sleep. (Yes, even in my twenties, I love sleeping in on Saturdays. And every other day of the week, for that matter…)

Of course, despite not having weddings, I still picked up my camera almost weekly to capture a sweet family, engagement session, or in this blog post’s instance, mini sessions! My goodness. So many sweet families. I loved having all these beautiful people in front of my camera.

This was my first time holding mini sessions during the summer and I am so glad I did! Normally, I’d never be able to fit this many families into my schedule for full sessions. Minis have given me the ability to serve and love so many new (& old) faces, and I could not be more grateful for them! I’m already looking forward to the fall sessions coming up in TWO short weeks, and winter ones during November.
