Ryan and Ally met during college at Gannon University. On October 14th, 2017, they committed their lives to each other at the First Presbyterian Church of the Covenant in downtown Erie, just steps from where their story began!

I could go on forever about how much I love these two. I don’t know if I’ve ever laughed as hard with a bride as I did during the hours I spent on the phone with Ally. She and I just seemed to “click” from day one, but the more I think about it, I’m not sure that there is anyone Ally wouldn’t get along with. Her personality is so kind, so funny and so infectious. She simply says it like it is, 100% of the time, and I truly love that about her. Ally brings the perfect balance to Ryan’s reserved and seemingly quiet personality. The moment I found out Ryan loved 90’s alternative music, I knew I was in great company. It takes him awhile to warm up, but once he does… he is JUST as funny as his bride. They had me in tears during our portraits together before the reception.

On top of that, I never knew it was possible to instantly become best friends with an ENTIRE group of bridesmaids the moment you met. Granted, bridesmaids always hold a very special place in my heart, but Ally’s five really left their mark. I’m serious, I did not want to leave these girls at the end of the night. They were SO loving and way too much fun! I can’t thank them enough for welcoming Jesse & I with such open arms.

To my wonderful bride & groom— Being part of your day was such an indescribable honor. Your families and friends were beyond lovely, and every last detail of your day fell perfectly into place. Jesse & I only wish we could have stuffed ten bags full of that Pittsburgh Popcorn Company into our car, but nevertheless, we are super grateful for the one that did make the trip back to Clymer. Hoping you have the greatest honeymoon in Mexico… and I promise to take care of both your dogs if anything bad happens while you’re gone. (Everything is going to be fine, but we’re just being cautious here) I ADORE you both so much and will gladly stop into Winston Salem to visit you next time I’m passing through. 😉 Love you, always, sweet friends! We grabbed a few more portraits in the art museum courtyard before the reception officially began. It was SO amazing to soak in a few quiet, fun moments with these two! They’re the best. Have I mentioned that?!

This is Ally’s grandmother. Guess how old she is?… {I’ll tell you at the end of the blog!} I do need to forewarn you, though, that she is the majority of the dancing images. And I feel zero shame about it. She was SO flipping adorable and I could’ve photographed her cuteness all night!
