I'm Hannah B, wedding & portrait photographer based in New York State. I'm a lover of intricate details and story telling- both visually & through writing. Here you will find glimpses of my life as a photographer, wife, mama, dog-lover & Chick fil-A obsessed creative!
Talk about a #JELLabration. Scott and Dani said their vows at the Sheraton Hotel, overlooking the gorgeous bay of Lake Erie. Their day was full of joy, laughter, happy tears and some seriously good dance moves.
I remember “meeting” Dani my junior year of college at Penn State Behrend. (I would hardly call it meeting though, because I talked to approximately three people my entire first year at this new school, after attending a junior college on a scholarship the two years prior. Being the new kid was hard, people.) Dani was friends with one of the three people I associated with, so I knew “of” her far before I ever “knew” her. Our senior year, we ended up bonding over a mutual distaste for a project we were working on, and I was finally able to call the pretty girl with perfect hair one of my friends. (Seriously, Dani can have any color hair and somehow pull it off seamlessly)
So, needless to say, I am so thankful that life crossed Dani & I’s paths and that our friend Megan introduced us back in Website Design during college. Dani is ambitious, hardworking, kind and driven. I remember her telling us that she was interviewing for a job in D.C. (where Scott lived) because she was planning to move after graduation and leave the Erie area for the first time ever. Let me also say that I had never officially met Scott, but I knew he must’ve been something special to A. be dating the girl with perfect hair and B. be worth the long distance relationship between Erie and Washington.
Dani and Scott had also crossed paths at Behrend, back before I even went there, and have been together SEVEN years. When they first met, they stayed up all night talking and ended up discovering a mutual love for the song “All For You” by Sister Hazel at 4 AM. (Proof I was meant to be their photographer, because I, too, freaking love this song) ANYWAYS… The new Mr. and Mrs. Jell shared their first dance to this exact song, and it took everything in me to hold back the tears. It was such a joyful, exciting moment for the two of them. After seven years, they were finally beginning their forever together.
Scott + Dani, thank you for allowing me to be part of such a JOYFUL and wonderful day. Everything, even down to the gorgeous weather, turned out absolutely perfectly. I hope you enjoy a few of my favorite images from your day, just as much as I enjoyed capturing them! XOXO
When your bridesmaids request this next shot and can quote the movie cover it’s replicating word for word with you… you know you’re in good company.
So many happy tears. I cannot get over Dani’s father’s expression. SO.STINKIN.PRECIOUS.
Dani & her champagne. This girl was ready to #JELLabrate!
