In less than I week, I will start my 2017 wedding season capturing a destination wedding in Cancun, Mexico. After a short break from shooting weddings over winter, it doesn’t even seem possible that 2016 has ended and we have already begun a brand new year. (Seriously, how is it February already?!) In honor of beginning a whole new season of weddings across the country sweet couples in love, I decided to do a quick recap of 2016. It was so incredibly hard narrowing it down to just a few of my favorites from the last year.

These couples hold a special place in my heart; 2016 was the first year I decided to take a chance at focusing on photography full time, while working somewhere part time. This has been a crazy journey full of growth and uncountable lessons. I wouldn’t be where I am today without these amazing people! Here’s to another year of following my dreams & capturing some of the most important days of peoples lives.
