Lauren has been planning her dream wedding for MONTHS on end, and on Saturday at The Dam Inn in Wilcox, PA, all her Pinterest dreams came to life when she married her best friend, Derek! These two exchanged vows surrounded by stunning, bright florals on the most gorgeous summer day! Once the reception began and everyone was inside, there was an absolute torrential downpour, just for a hint of good luck! Their day truly could not have been more perfect!!

I honestly don’t know if I’ve met more infectiously joyful couple than Lauren and Derek— He is the calm to her chaos, and goes along with all her crazy shenanigans. It is rare to find either of them without a smile on their face, so as you can imagine, their wedding was nothing short of an absolute joy to be part of! We were blessed with incredible weather, beautiful light and a seamlessly planned timeline. (So much so, that we were able to take at least one million portraits with absolutely ZERO time crunches!) The most important thing to Lauren was documenting her dream portraits & simply being able to enjoy the day. It’s safe to say we most definitely knocked both those out of the park!

Y’all know how I feel about you, but it never hurts to re-iterate for the 1000th time! From your proposal, to your engagement session, to planning every last detail of August 6th together… we truly could not have asked for more perfect day for you two amazing humans. I can’t fully describe how incredible it feels to have a couple trust you whole-heartedly in the way you both did! To hear you say “I have dreamt of you being my photographer since before I was even engaged,” was enough to make my heart burst. Then to live out your favorite day ever TOGETHER… I truly just don’t have words. You two will forever & always be my people! Whether you like it or not, you’re stuck with me forever. Sending you ALL my love as you embark on a lifetime of adventures together; I can’t wait to see where life takes you from here! <3

Sometimes I know immediately when an image is going to be my favorite from the day. This one below, was exactly that. Lauren literally prayed over every aspect of her dream day leading up to Saturday, and here is an image of them praying ON her wedding day. Seriously gives me chills– I just love this girl and her big, joyful heart so much! 

My girls… I just love this bunch so much! <3 It is both an extreme privilege and excruiating heartbreak to work with new people every weekend. I carry each of them with me after and am always so thankful for the memories we have to look back on together!

And naturally, there were SOO many amazing portraits, that it would be wrong if we didn’t end with a few more, just for good measure! 😉
